Carla has only been the Director of the Provo City Library since 2022 but has worked at the library since 1999.  She has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Utah State University.  She absolutely loves her job and couldn't think of anything she would rather be doing than providing amazing library services to the amazing residents of Provo. In what little spare time she has, she loves reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Breanne Gilroy

Breanne started working for the Provo City Library in 2008 as a librarian, and has managed our Adult and Teen Services since 2022.  She has a Master's in Library and Information Science from Texas Woman's University, and a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Curatorial Studies. Breanne is passionate about providing services for Provo's community, and loves seeing what technology opportunities are on the horizon. She also loves cooking and could spend the rest of her days perusing the library's cookbook collection page-by-page.

Joella Bagshaw

Joella first started working at the Provo City Library as a page and then a Children’s Librarian in 2002. She left Provo to work in libraries in Illinois, Washington state, and Salt Lake County before coming back to the Provo City Library as the Children’s Services Manager in 2014. She has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English from BYU and an Associate’s degree in English from Ricks College. She loves working with children and hopes to inspire imagination in every program provided at the library. If Joella happens to find any spare time, she would most likely be caught reading, traveling, rock climbing, or quilting.

Erika Hill

Erika joined the library in 2013.  She holds a Master's degree in Media Education and a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts, both from BYU.  She manages marketing, outreach, the Basement Creative Lab, and the Attic exhibition space. Mostly she does a lot of math to hang exhibits, answers many questions, and writes great emails.  When not at the library she reads, crochets, embroiders, plays video games, and raises children and snakes. And occasionally sleeps.

Ann-Marie Marchant

Ann-Marie originally started working at the library in 2004.  She left for a few years to work at two libraries in Virginia, but returned when she missed us too much.  Ann-Marie has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family and Human Development from BYU. Ann-Marie enjoys managing the behind the scenes departments of the library, they are so vital to making sure our patrons have access to the materials and technology they need. She is the favorite aunt to over a dozen nieces and nephews! In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
