Our next annual program is Fairy Tea to be held March 2025.

Fairy Tea

Fairy Tea is a lovely annual event for children 3+ and their parents or caregivers. Children are invited to wear their best fairy finery and participate in a dainty tea party with live ballet, music, and other fairy fun.

Children's Book Festival

Every year a different author or illustrator is highlighted for this annual celebration. Children are able to listen to the author speak, do crafts and activities, and get a free book while supplies last.

Space Academy

Space Academy is an action-packed event for children 3+ and their parents or caregivers. An interactive presentation is followed by activities, crafts, science projects, and games.

Tween Academy

Tween Academy is an exciting program for kids ages 9-12 to immerse themselves in the worlds of their favorite books. Kids will learn new things, explore new worlds, and solve mysteries along the way.

FAIRY TEA

FAIRY TEA SESSIONS

There are five total sessions of Fairy Tea: 

March 7, 2025 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm

March 8, 2025 11:00 am, 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm

FAIRY TEA TICKET POLICIES: 

  • Tickets are available to Provo City Library Cardholders (or registered Orem Library Cardholders) only. 
  • Tickets are $8 each for both children and adults.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult who must also have a ticket. This event is for ages 3 and up. No infants, babies, or toddlers will be admitted to the event. 
  • Sunday or Fairy best is required at the event.
  • Limit 8 tickets per library cardholder (you must show your Provo or registered Orem Library Card at time of purchase). 
  • Doors will close promptly on the hour. Latecomers will be seated after the ballet performance.

CHILDREN'S BOOK FESTIVAL

Children's Book Festival will be held May 3, 2025 with special guest and Caldecott honoree, LeUyen Pham.

SPACE ACADEMY

Save the world at Space Academy! After attending orientation and saving the world, space cadets will participate in training challenges, conquer obstacle courses, eat in the mess hall, and receive a free book. The entire experience will last about an hour.

Space Academy will be held October 12, 2024.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting September 28, 2024 at 9 AM.

SPACE ACADEMY TICKET POLICIES:

  • Tickets are $6 each for both children and adults.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult who must also have a ticket. No infants, babies, or toddlers will be admitted to the event. 
  • Space attire is strongly encouraged.
  • Limit 8 tickets per library cardholder (you must show your Provo or registered Orem Library Card at time of purchase).

TWEEN ACADEMY

This immersive event is just for tweens. 

Tween Academy 2025 will be held August 16, 2025.

TWEEN ACADEMY TICKET POLICIES:

  • This activity is for tweens ages 9-12 only; participants must be 9-12 on the day of the event. No kids of any other age will be admitted.
  • Tickets must be picked up in person in the Children's Library; no online or phone reservations can be made. There is a limit of 4 tickets per family.
  • Each tween must have their own ticket.
  • Because our tickets are limited, please only take tickets for children you know will be able to attend this event.
  • There will be a standby line available on the day of the event; those in the standby line are not guaranteed entry.

EVENT INFORMATION:

  • This event will begin promptly at the specified time in the Ballroom. At five minutes past the start time, doors will close and any unclaimed seats will be given to kids in the standby line.
  • Costumes are highly encouraged!
  • A standby line will be available on the day of the event. To be admitted from the standby line (if space becomes available), tweens must:
    • Be 9-12 years old
    • Show a Provo City Library card or registered Orem Library card
    • Provide a parent/guardian name and phone number in case of emergency
